Today, we go from advocating for all shelter animals to advocating for one. And while saving one cat will not save the world, it will save the world for that one cat.
Go to www.petfinder.com or your local shelter’s website: Find a cat who could use a break, and post his/her link and photo to your Facebook page, twitter, and/or send to your email contacts. In your message, focus on the positive: be upbeat, inspiring, and even funny. And tell them that no matter what they accomplish today or any other day, if they adopt this cat, they could stand tall and proud, because today, they will have saved a life.
